PHILLIES GAME DELAYED

NEW YORKA member of security at Citi Field in New York confirmed that a suspicious package has been found at the stadium today.

Two cops were seen walking through the press box with a dog around 3:30 this afternoon, and writers were not allowed to leave the press box. Fans in the section below the press box were escorted away.

The tarp was on the field and the game did not start on time. It was raining, although not very hard.

Two men could be seen from the press box taking X-rays of the suspicious package that was about 30 feet outside and to the left of where the sports writers sit.

Within about 25 minutes, fans were allowed back to their seats and security informed several writers that everything was OK.

The game finally started around 9:05 p.m.
