KEITH GROLLER'S NFL PICKS

FROM KEITH GROLLER

Still up here in New Hampshire. Stayed an additional night and will spend most of this Sunday traveling and unable to see any of the NFL games. I'll be seeing red leaves rather than the Red Zone, my favorite channel on Sundays.

One nice thing about getting 360 miles away from the Lehigh Valley this weekend was to be able to escape all of the Michael Vick hoopla. Up here, it's still baseball season and these New Englanders took great delight in the Red Sox beating the Yankees the past two nights and causing some concern in the Bronx.

Even the Pats seem to take second fiddle to baseball. It's a big difference from Philly where everything with the Eagles gets blown way up.

But this change in quarterbacks was way over the top -- even by Eagles standards.

Look, I am over Vick's dogfighting issue -- even though I do love dogs and don't even want to think about what was happening to them.

I hope he's truly learned a lesson and is on his way to living a cleaner life and will be a good citizen.

But I do believe everybody has gone completely nuts over what they saw in one half against Green Bay and against the Lions.

Maybe they are right. Maybe Vick will lead them to where Donovan McNabb couldn't take them and that's to the podium for the awards ceremony during the Super Bowl celebration.

And if that happens, it would be a story for the ages. Definite made-for-TV movies material. But I don't see it happening.

Then again, considering my track record on the NFL picks, that's music to Eagles fans ears.

According to Rico, I am 19-12-1 on over/under totals, 13-16-3 against the spread and a still pathetic 16-16 outright.

Here we go (HOME TEAMS IN CAPS):

NY GIANTS (-3) 30, Tennessee Titans 17 -- Over the over/under of 43.5

NEW ENGLAND (-14.5) 23, Buffalo 10 -- Under the over/under of 42.5
