Lehigh Valley Steelhawks announce promotional schedule

The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks, the region's indoor football team, are hosting their first home game March 19 at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, according to a team news release.

The team's inaugural home game is also its season opener. The Steelhawks are hosting the 2010 Atlantic Division Champion Richmond Revolution, the release says.

Fans are encouraged to wear all black for the 7 p.m. game and the first 2,000 fans to arrive will receive a Steelhawks T-shirt, the release says.

Other home game promotions planned this season include:

* Fan Appreciation Night on April 16. There will be giveaways for fans during the game.

* Relay for Life Night on May 8. Game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off during the game to benefit the American Cancer Society; Relay for Life is an annual ACS fundraiser.

* Heroes Night on May 28. Military personnel and first responders will receive a 50 percent discount a the door. Military personnel are eligible for 25 percent off all game tickets purchased at the box office, the release says.
