First Lehigh Valley High School Football Combine coming on June 26

FROM KEITH GROLLER

We'll be talking about this on the Morning Call "Calling All Sports" radio show today at 9:30 and again on the TV show in the week ahead, but there will be a Lehigh Valley High School Football Combine coming up on Sunday, June 26.

This venture is the idea of Nick Koch, a former area high school and Muhlenberg College football coach, who will be a guest on the show.

Here are some of the details from a release that was sent out on Friday:

For the first time the ehigh Valley High School Football Combine will be held. The event is being held on June 26th for high school football players who are interested in showcasing their football talent. The event will take place at Whitehall High School’s football stadium and its adjacent turf athletic field.

The Combine is a tool for high school football players who would like to continue their football playing careers, while they are continuing their education. The Combine verifies an athlete's results of each individual event, and sees to it that these results are sent to every college in the country.

The Combine can open up a door to a ball player that may not have been opened up for him previously. Not all football players are “Blue Chip '' D-1 athletes. The Combine exposes an athlete to all divisions of College football. All over the country.

The value of a football scholarship in today's economy is more valuable then ever. Give your football player every advantage and chance to obtain ANY financial assistance that may be out there.
Every year all across the Pennsylvania literally hundreds of talented high school football players are overlooked by college and university coaches and recruiters. Are the athletes smaller, slower, weaker or less quick then athletes in other parts of the country? The simple answer is, no. The main reason they are not recruited is they have not been marketed and no one knows about them. Often times the athletes are not near a major metropolitan area or they happen to be part of a team with a poor record.

The Lehigh Valley Football Combine is the answer.

The goal is to provide a testing service to showcase high school football player’s skills while helping to connect them with colleges through out the country, and help them market themselves for college scholarships. If you want to play college football we will help you! If you want to use college football as a tool to get a college degree The LV high school Football Combine will help you create a profile for college teams to help you earn a scholarship. We are providing a combine that will legitimize your testing scores while coaching you on how to perform better. And how to present yourself better in the eyes of the recruiting colleges.
