ALLENTOWN FAIR DAILY SCHEDULE AUG. 31

FROM THE MORNING CALL

• Hours: Noon to 11 p.m.

• Admission: $6; free, ages 11 and under and everyone noon to 2 p.m.; $4, seniors 65 and over with ID after 2 p.m.

Noon: Continuation of morning dairy judging, judging tent.

Noon-10 p.m.: Agri~Plex exhibits/demonstrations, Agri~Plex. Poultry Building, Livestock Barns, 4-H Barnyard Petting Zoo, outside the judging tent.

Noon-11 p.m.: Indoor shopping, dining, Fair personality Punkin Miller Headquarters, Lehigh Valley Garden Railroad Club running exhibit, main exhibit building. Outdoor shopping/eating stands, First and Fourth avenues and midway. "Jammin' in the Juke" Two Days in the Car contest, midway.

12:30 p.m.: Lehigh Valley Senior Spelling Bee, Farmerama Theater.

1 p.m.: Farm to Table Cooking Series, "Come Grow With Us" contest winner, Agri~Plex.

1-9 p.m.: Demonstrating Crafter of the Day: Pat DeVries wheat weaving, main exhibit building.

1:30 p.m.: Extreme Canine Stunt Dog Show, Farmerama Theater.

2-11 p.m.: Rides, games, midway.

2 p.m.: Fleischmann's Yeast "Bake for the Cure" Baking Contest, Agri~Plex.

2:30 p.m.: Robinson's Pig Paddling Porkers, pig racing, Machinery Avenue Court.

3 p.m.: Extreme Canine Stunt Dog Show, Farmerama Theater. Punkin Miller's Swinging Seniors Party featuring the Royalaires, music tent. Farm to Table Cooking Series, Randy Beck, owner, and Cale Beck, executive chef, Beck's Land and Sea House, Agri~ Plex. Goat judging, judging tent.

3-4:30 p.m.: Punkin Miller's Swinging Seniors Party featuring the Royalaires, music tent.

3:15 p.m.: Brian Follweiler, folk, rock and blues, Centennial Stage.

3:30 p.m.: Big Cat Encounter, educational show and exhibit, Machinery Avenue Court.

4 p.m.: Farm to Table Cooking Series, proprietor Laurin Fegley and chef Al Stubbman, Simply Smooth Special Events, Agri~Plex. Taste of the Market sampling, main exhibit building.

4:15 p.m.: Brian Xander, singer/songwriter, Centennial Stage.

4:30 p.m.: Robinson's Pig Paddling Porkers, pig racing, Machinery Avenue Court.

5 p.m.: Extreme Canine Stunt Dog Show, Farmerama Theater. Farm to Table Cooking Series, Natalie Miller, chef/owner, Loopers Bar & Grille, Agri~Plex.

5:15 p.m.: Decorate your Holiday Themed Wreath contest, Agri~Plex.

5:30 p.m.: Big Cat Encounter, educational show and exhibit, Machinery Avenue Court.

6 p.m.: RCN Sports Talk show with hosts Chris Michael and Joe Craig featuring Highland Games athletes and high school cheerleaders, Farmerama Theater. Farm to Table Cooking Series, John Yanek, first place, 2010 Fair Best Ever Chili contest, Agri~plex.

6:30 p.m.: Robinson's Pig Paddling Porkers, pig racing, Machinery Avenue Court. Farm to Table Cooking Series, Sharon Kutz, first place, 2010 Fair and National King Arthur Flour Great Cake contest winner, Agri~Plex.

7 p.m.: Journey, Foreigner and special guest Night Ranger, grandstand. Walt Groller's Orchestra, music tent. King Arthur Flour Great Cake Contest, Agri~Plex.

7:30 p.m.: WZZO Backyard Bands Contest, Farmerama Theater. Big Cat Encounter, educational show and exhibit, Machinery Avenue Court. Agricultural Awards Ceremony, Centennial Stage.

8:30 p.m.: Robinson's Pig Paddling Porkers, pig racing, Machinery Avenue Court.

10:15 p.m.: The Cherry Bombs, modern rock music, Bier Garten.

Strolling attractions: Scott's Crazy Comedy Magic Show, Bounce and Ooo La La Comedy Juggling Show, Fair Mascots, Dapper Dan the clown, fairgrounds.
