FROM KEITH GROLLER

The second annual National Bowl Game presented by East Preps LLC. is set for J. Birney Crum Stadium on Dec. 4.

The National Bowl is a football all-star game for college seniors from across the country. It is an "invitation only" game where only all-American and all-Conference players are eligible.

A release states that more than 80 of the best players from the NCAA FCS, and Division II and III levels are confirmed and will travel to Allentown. Some of the players wil come from as far away as Colorado, Michigan, New Mexico, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

The National Bowl is presented by East Preps LLC.

Reportedly, several pro teams, ranging from the NFL's Houston Texans to the Indoor Football League's Reading Express, will have scouts in attendance at the game.

Again, according to the media release, last year's game had several participants who went on to NFL, CFL, AFL, IFl, and UIFL teams.

East Preps also runs the D-II and D-II Pro Day & National Scouting Combine that tests the best Division II and Division II seniors in January. The scouting combine reportedly has helped to send 40 players on to the pros.
