http://sportsmediajournal.com/ Florio to Host Program on NBC Sports Network- NBC Sports announced today that Mike Florio, the creator of ProFootballTalk.com currently on NBC Sports.com, will be co-hosting Pro Football Talk which will air at 5 p.m. ET, every Monday through Friday on the NBC Sports Network. The program, which debuts September 4th, will be co-hosted by Erik Kuselias. Florio and Kuselias will regularly welcome a roster of NBC Sports football commentators, including Rodney Harrison, Hines Ward,Doug Flutie, Ross Tucker, Amani Toomer, and Peter King, among others. Reds/Cardinals on Next Edition of Caught Looking- On the next edition of Caught Looking on the NBC Sports Network, the program will look back at the recent series between the Cincinnati Reds and the St. Louis Cardinals. The program debuts tomorrow night at 9:00p.m. ET. LaDainian Tomlinson Joins SiriusXM and NFL Network- Former NFL running back LaDainian Tomlinson has secured roles on both SiriusXM Radio and the NFL Network. Tomlinson will host In the Endzone with LT on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio at 9:00pm ET with co-host Jeff Rickard channel 87 on XM and channel 210 on Sirius Premier. The shoe debuts this Friday. Tomlinson will also be part of the NFL Network’s new Sunday studio program entitled First on the Field. College Football on CBS Sports Network- The CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) kicks-off its 2012 college football season with three games this weekend. Action begins tomorrow at 7:30p.m. as UCLA visits Rice with Dave Ryan, Ron Zook and Evan Washburn reporting. Minnesota at UNLV follows at 11:00p.m. ET with James Bates, Aaron Taylor and Lauren Gardner on the call. Saturday at 8:00p.m,. ET CBSSN will have Brad Johansen, Doug Chapman and Tammy Blackburn on site as Rutgers travels to Tulane. NBC Sports Network to Televise Three Soccer Matches this Weekend- The NBC Sports Network will be the home of three soccer matches this weekend. MLS action takes place Friday night at 10:30p.m. ET as the Colorado Rapids take on the Portland Timbers. John Strong, Brian Dunseth (analyst) and Carolyn Manno will be on the call. Saturday at 2:30p.m. ET the U.S. Women’s soccer team will take part in a “friendly” with Costa Rica. Arlo White and Kyle Martino will call all the action. Russ Thaler will sevre as studio host with analyst Kate Markgraf. MLS returns Sunday as White,Martino and Thaler call the Chivas USA at San Jose Earthquakes match at 9:00p.m. ET.
