DeSean Jackson: "Coach Reid's back is against the wall."

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER Courtesy of a NFL Network release, we get these snippets from DeSean Jackson and Donovan McNabb. This morning, both Jackson and McNabb joined NFL AM on the NFL Network. The following are excerpts from the interview: DeSean Jackson: (On the possibility of a change at quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles) “We are too good of a team to be on a three-game losing streak, so whatever it is we can do to get things rolling that is what we are here to do.” (On if a quarterback change will help the Eagles turnaround the season) “You never know until it happens.” (What is different about quarterback Michael Vick this season) “I don’t think he is as comfortable as he usually is [running the offense].” (On Coach Reid) “This is a big year for us. There is no room to be struggling. I know Coach Reid’s back is against the wall. We just have to figure it out.” (On how to improve the Eagles) “Everyone has to be accountable. Everyone can’t look at anyone else and question [them]. It has to start with each individual… look at their mistakes and correct them.” Additionally, Donovan McNabb was in studio. Here is what he had to say about the Eagles’ situation: Donovan McNabb: (On if quarterback Nick Foles gives the Eagles a better shot to win) “No not at all. They have more issues than just the quarterback position.” (On how Michael Vick improves going forward) “He has to focus on his job. If you focus on your job, you block everything out. Once you start hearing the boos, hearing the radio station talk, people outside [the organization] bringing your name up[about] being benched, then you begin to lose focus. He needs to feed off his play last week [where he didn’t turn the ball over].”
