http://sportsmediajournal.com/ World Series Ratings on Fox Still Down from 2011 After Two Games- Fox Sports received an overnight rating of 7.8 for last night’s Game Two of the World Series. That number is down from the 8.9 rating the network earned for Game 2 of the 2011 Fall Classic. The average audience was 12.3 million viewers, down from the 14.3 million viewers from a year ago. Florida/Georgia CBS SEC Game of the Week- This week’s SEC game of the week on CBS will feature Florida at Georgia. Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson, and Tracy Wolfson have the call beginning at 3:30p.m. ET tomorrow. College Football Today precedes the telecast at 3:00p.m. ET with Tim Brando, Spencer Tillman and Aaron Taylor. Former Linebacker Spielman Next Focus of NFLN’s A Football Life- The next edition of NFL Network’s (NFLN) A Football Life will look back at the career and life of former linebacker Chris Spielman. The film looks at Spielman’s on-field career and his having to care of his cancer-stricken wife off it. Chris Spielman: A Football Life debuts Wednesday at 8:00p.m. ET. NBA TV’s Open Court Returns Tuesday Night- NBA TV’s acclaimed series Open Court has its fourth installment this Tuesday afternoon at 5:00p.m. ET. Next week’s show will feature a panel discussion on the top five players in the league, “Super Teams” and their impact on the NBA, how they would build a team today if they were a General Manager, current coach they would have liked to play for, and more. Ernie Johnson hots with TNT and NBA TV analysts including Charles Barkley, Steve Kerr, Reggie Miller, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, Steve Smith and Chris Webber. MLS Season Ends with Triple Header Saturday on NBC and NBCSN- The end of the 2012 Major League soccer season will feature three matches tomorrow on NBC and NBC Sports Network (NBCSN). At 1:30p.m. ET on NBC the New York Red Bulls take on the Philadelphia Union with Arlo White, Kyle Martino and Russ Thaler on site. At 4:00p.m. ET NBCSN has the Chicago Fire at D.C. United with Steve Cangialosi and Shep Messing at the mic. At 6:30p.m. NBCSN has the Portland Timbers at the San Jose Earthquake with JP Dellacamera, Brian Dunseth and Rob Simmelkjaer on the call. CBS Sports Spectacular This Weekend- The CBS Sports Spectacular will feature three events over Saturday and Sunday. Tomorrow at 1:30p.m. ET the show takes a behind-the-scenes-look at the Florida State football program with Uncut-Florida State. Hugh Galyean narrates. At 2:00p.m. it’s off to Indiana for the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League tractor pull. Ken Stout, Leslie Meyers and Gladys Crash call the action. Sunday (either before or after NFL action) Verne Lundquist hosts Golf’s Best of 2012, looking back at the 2012 PGA season. Ironman World Championship This Weekend on NBC- NBC Sports will provide extensive coverage of the Ironman World Championship tomorrow beginning at 4:00p.m. ET. Al Truatwig will host the two-hour program, which took place October 13th in Hawaii.
