Sacred Heart loses close one in CYO state tournament; still has a chance to finish third

The Sacred Heart Regional School Tigers lost in the semifinal game of the Pennsylvania State CYO Grade School Boys Tournament to St. Thomas the Apostle of the Philadelphia Archdiocese 54-51 on Saturday at Chestnut Hill College.
   Shackylle DeZonie had 27 points for the Tigers to lead all scorers in the game. Justin Marrero added 12. Leading the Knights was Austin Laughlin with 18 and Brady Devereux with 13. The Philadelphia team hit 12 3-pointers to carry it to victory.
   The Tigers (17-2) will now play the St. Benedict Panthers from the Altoona/Johnstown Diocese for third place on Sunday.
