With the cold weather finally over, and the rain coming for the next three days, it was probably a good thing that they got some league games on Thursday.
Here are some of the scores the guys in the office received:

Emmaus 11, Allen 0  -- Olivia Marcks had a 1-hitter and 10 strikeouts; Claire Harris 3-for-3, 2B, 2 runs, 2 RBI's; Miryah Palko 3-3, 2 3B, R, 3 RBI's; Alyssa Krasnansky 3B, 3 RBIs.
Liberty 2, Becahi 1 -- Deb Renner tossed a 2-hitter; Mariah Kondravy homored and Alyshia Dellatore knocked in a run with a double as the Hurricanes made an early statement in the LVC East over the defending league champs.
Freedom 4, Easton 3 -- Patriots scored two in the top of the seventh. Sophomore Shayla Peterson struck out seven and allowed four hits in getting the win. Alexa Barry and Taylor Barna hit home runs for the Red Rovers.
Northampton 10, Whitehall 7 -- Not quite sure these two combined for eight hits and scored 17 runs, but we do know that K-Kids freshman Taylor Keeney outdueled Zephyrs freshman Kay Solderitch and Northampton sophomore Emily Schwartz had two hits and knocked in two runs.
Parkland 4, Nazareth 2 -- Morgan Rentzheimer pitched a 4-hitter and Courtney Miller and Lexi Oakley knocked in runs. Brooke Lichty hit a home run and knocked in two runs for the Blue Eagles.

COLONIAL LEAGUE
Pen Argyl 6, Northwestern 5 -- The Tigers came back from a 5-0 deficit to tie it in the top of the seventh, but the Green Knights prevailed in the bottom of the eight. Lots of hitting stars in this one.
