Six outstanding, local baseball prospects will be Lehigh Carbon Cougars this fall and will play in the spring for the college.

The team competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association. Last season, Cougars baseball made the EPAC playoffs and was seeded 7th, but failed to make it past the first round. Four Cougars were named to the EPAC 1st Team: Josh Kern (Lehighton HS), Chris Saliby (Whitehall HS), Mike Tatasciore (Catasauqua HS), and Carl Cressman (Palmerton HS). Additionally, three players were named All Region – Second Team All Region: CJ Saliby (Whitehall HS); Third Team All Region: CJ Cressman (Palmerton HS), Mike Tatasciore (Catasuaqua HS).
